How Getir Built Fraud Detection with Amazon Neptune and DynamoDB
Getir is an ultrafast delivery pioneer which revolutionized last-mile delivery in 2015 with its 10-minute grocery delivery proposition. Getir’s story started in Istanbul and launched operations in the UK, Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, and the US in 2021. In this session, we will learn how Getir built an end-to-end fraud detection system in order to gather real-time data to detect fraudulent activities using Amazon Neptune and Amazon DynamoDB, with the goal of helping loss with loss prevention calculations, observing customer behaviour and giving insights into risky accounts whilst maintaining a frictionless customer experience for their millions of users.
Speakers:
Esra Kayabali, Sr. Solutions Architect, AWS
Berkay Berkman, Sr. Data Engineer, Getir
Boost ML-Powered Recommendation Engine & Fraud Detection Workloads
Enhance your Recommendation Engine & Fraud Detection Workloads with Machine Learning. Recommendation engines and fraud detection are a common use-case for graphs, as they offer the ability to store highly connected data about individuals, products and transactions. Customers can drive ML-based detections from this data, but must go through a rigorous workflow each time new data arrives. This session explores how customers creating graphs for fraud detection workloads can use real-time inference to identify common properties and connections within newly created graph objects in order to perform proactive fraud detection.
Speaker:
Kevin Phillips, Amazon Neptune Specialist Solution Architect, EMEA, AWS
