Andrés José Tahta, Director of Latin American Public Sector Sales, AWS
Andrés is a seasoned executive with international business, marketing, and sales experience in Latin America and the United States. Additionally, he has co-founded/co-invested in several service companies in Argentina. With over 25 years of experience, Andrés has a proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering results.
As Managing Director for AWS Latin America Public Sector, Andrés supports government, education, non-profit, and healthcare customers to accelerate innovation and enable them to better serve their constituents.
Prior to joining AWS, he served a four-year team as the Executive Vice President of the Argentina Investment and Trade Promotion Agency. Andrés also worked for 11 years as the Business Unit Director and Marketing & Communications Director for Telefonica and Movistar. Additionally, he worked as a Senior Engagement Manager for more than five years at McKinsey & Co primarily in Latin America and the United States, and as an Investor Relations Manager at the recently privatized Telecom Argentina.
Andrés holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Government and International Relations from Dartmouth College and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School. He is a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English and French. He loves travel, rugby, and piano playing and is married with three children.

Cindy Polin, Director of Solution Architect, Public Sector for Mexico, AWS
For more than seven years, Cindy Polin has been part of the Amazon Web Services team in Latin America. Today, she works as Director of the Solution Architects team for Mexico in the Public Sector. In this role, Polin has focused on supporting the team of Solution Architects who are dedicated to understanding the best practices surrounding cloud-based solutions as well as guiding them in the migration of their current workloads to it.
Cindy has a degree in Cybernetics Engineering from La Salle University. Previously, Polin worked for more than 16 years at Televisa and three years at Grupo Financiero Interações, ending his position at Televisa as Chief Developer.
One of his great passions and hobbies continues to be to create, assemble and design electronic devices to experiment with them.
