Overview
- This course helps students quickly understand the overall plan of the AWS data lake through hands-on experiments.
- In this lab, students will build a data lake on AWS by themselves. During this process, the students operate on AWS data analysis services, including Athena, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Kinesis, etc.
- During the lab, the teacher combines theory and practice to explain some important technical concepts and best practices.
- The lab takes about 3-4 hours.
Workshop Objectives
This half day workshop will contain comprehend lecture and help you practice building and securing a data lake in a hands-on environment.
- Apply data lake methodologies in planning and designing a data lake
- Articulate the components and services required for building an AWS data lake
- Secure a data lake with appropriate permission
- Ingest, store, and transform data in a data lake
Intended Audience
This course is intended for Individuals who have a certain understanding of AWS basic services and want to learn AWS big data service system.
