A: Any person that registers for the AWS Certification Challenge and achieves an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Certification between November 30 - December 11, 2020 will be eligible to participate in the Certification Challenge.
A: You will need to get certified between the dates of November 30 - December 11, 2020 in order to receive your free t-shirt and successfully complete this Challenge.
A: No, but you will need to live in the United States in order to participate. The overall goal is to encourage people to advance their skills with AWS. Regardless of where you live, if you have registered for the Challenge, and successfully achieved an AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification during the Challenge, you will receive an AWS Certification Challenge t-shirt.
A: Nope! The training curriculum provided is a recommended path of courses you can take - if you feel ready to take the certification exam, you can go ahead and schedule your exam at aws.training as soon as you feel prepared.
A: Yes, you must submit your question to [email protected] by 3:00pm EST on Friday, December 4, 2020. Please be sure to include "Q&A Session Dec. 7" in your subject line. We will try our best to answer as many questions as possible, but due to time constraints, some questions may not be answered during the session..

A: Once you have gotten certified, please fill out this form with your digital badge URL. If you prefer not to share your digital badge URL, you can email our team with the following information: first and last name, date of certification exam, certification validation number, and certification issue date.
A: Unfortunately, no. This Certification Challenge starts on November 30, 2020 and ends on December 11, 2020. Only those who opt in to the Challenge starting on November 30 through December 11, 2020 will qualify to participate in the Challenge.
A: There is no cost to register or participate in the training and preparation sessions for the Challenge. To earn the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification, participants must take and pass the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam, which costs 100 USD.
