Productionise Your Application Sessions
On-demand sessions below:
Productionise Your Application Container
In this session we’ll look at how to make your containerised application ‘production ready’. We’ll examine what being ‘production ready’ means for containers, and some of the aspects you need to consider, such as golden images, tagging, provenance, variables and secrets, and logging. This session will use the AWS Well Architected Framework to guide our discussion through these different topics.

Productionise Your Application on Amazon ECS
In this session we will cover how to take an application from Development to Production on Amazon ECS. I’ll cover how you can configure ECS to meet the requirements of being “ready for Production”. Taking you from securing your infrastructure to monitoring your application health. This session will follow the format of the AWS Well Architected Framework and discuss how ECS can help you meet the requirements of each pillar.

Productionise Your Application on Amazon EKS
In this session we will look at how to avoid common pitfalls when deploying an application to Amazon EKS. This session will go into the technical concepts of Kubernetes, and explore the relevant configuration options to ensure a containerised workload running on Amazon EKS is ready for production. This session will follow the structure of the AWS Well Architected framework, ensuring the containerised workload is operating reliably, securely, efficiently, and in a cost-effective way.

Ocado Technology: Building a Developer platform with Amazon ECS at Scale
Amazon ECS is a highly secure, reliable, and scalable way to run containers and is the de facto standard for container-based architectures given it's strong native integrations with other AWS services. But migrating the compute platform of a large organization can be difficult, and measuring and communicating the value of such a migration can be even more so. At Ocado Technology we've built a platform on top of ECS that has enabled us to deliver over 10,000 weekly deployment for hundreds of microservices across multiple AWS accounts. In this talk we will share with you: * How to make migrating to ECS easy for developers * What are sensible defaults for ECS services * When to consider cost management * How to build in security by design * Why you should be authorising and auditing your deployments.
