Brett Looney

Brett Looney, Principal Solutions Architect, AWS

Brett started life in the IT industry far too long ago to remember; spent over a decade supporting enterprise and mid-market customers across Australia before joining iiNet to build their then fledgling ADSL network. After that, he partnered with a friend to build L7 Solutions, which was the largest locally owned IT company before being sold to Amcom in 2011. In 2015 Brett joined Amazon Web Services as a Solutions Architect – continuing the IT theme but into the world of cloud computing. At AWS, Brett is supporting and advising Australian and global enterprises and public sector customers in the adoption and best practices of using the cloud to deliver lower cost business services with greater agility. And he likes cats. And donuts. But don’t feed him caffeine.
