Managing Secrets for Containers with Amazon ECS

Managing Secrets for Containers with Amazon ECS

Deploying containerized applications means you need the ability to manage secrets, such as API keys, passwords, and certificates for your containerized applications. However, injecting secrets via the Docker run or a task definition may not provide the desired level of security. In this webinar, we’ll discuss how to use IAM roles and Amazon S3 to manage and insert secrets into containerized applications running on Amazon EC2 Container Service. We’ll deep-dive into setting up networking between containers to share these secrets and how you can manage this all from development through to production.
