Jeff Barr joined Amazon in 2002, became the company’s first web services evangelist in 2003, and founded the AWS News Blog in 2004. In his role as Chief Evangelist, Jeff strives to explain the benefits of cloud computing and web services to anyone who will listen. He has written over 3000 posts for the AWS Blog and another 1100 for his personalblog, records weekly AWS update videos, and maintains an active social media presence.

Jeff earned his Bachelor’s degree in computer science from American University and his Master’s degree in Communication and Digital Media from the University of Washington. Before coming to Amazon, Jeff held development and management positions at Microsoft, KnowNow, eByz, and Akopia, and was a co-founder of Visix Software.

Jeff has been a technical reviewer for 4 books on web services, wrote a chapter on advanced scripting for a book on Second Life, and is the author of Host Your Website in the Cloud, published by SitePoint in 2010.

Ivan Cheng is the Manager of the Solutions Architect team in AWS Taiwan, helping enterprise customers in various industries to realize business value using AWS platform. Before joining AWS, Ivan held various IT roles including Architect, Technical Instructor, Project Manager, and Developer overseeing large-scale applications and various software development areas.

Sharon Lam is the FSI Solution Architect in AWS Hong Kong, certified with BSI/ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CISSP , CCSP and SABSA. Her motto is about realizing “Security as an Enabler” for highly regulated customers during the digital transformation age. Involve in Enterprise Architecture discussion with different customer stakeholders, Sharon strives to explain business benefit with the design and operation consideration to CISO, Security architect, Security Manager and Security Operation Center so as to promote end to end operation excellence.

Before joining AWS, Sharon held various roles supporting customers including Security Architect, Major Account Architect, Solution Consulting Manager across different industries in security and infrastructure areas.

Dickson Yue has been working for Amazon Web Services across Hong Kong and Taiwan with a strong focus on building resilient, scalable, secure and cost effective application architectures. He assisted key customers building platforms which align revenue model and scale with their business. In Dickson’s beliefs, continuous innovation is the growth engine for businesses in all kind. It is the reason he developed a team of Solutions Architect helping customer to accelerate cloud technologies adoption. Prior to his AWS time, Dickson was responsible to lead a technology team in a digital marketing company assisting APAC customer to execute digital strategy.

As a solutions architect in AWS, Kevin Su is dedicated to helping enterprise customers in Taiwan to accelerate innovation and meet their business goals with the agility and scalability of cloud computing. Before joining AWS, Kevin worked for multimedia, smart home, and smart healthcare industries as R&D director and product manager roles. His areas of specialty include cloud computing, audio/video processing and streaming, IoT, and algorithms.
