Powering your Analytics with Serverless capabilities (Level 200)

Data volumes are increasing at an unprecedented rate, exploding from terabytes to petabytes and sometimes exabytes of data. Traditional on-premises data analytics approaches can’t handle these data volumes because they don’t scale well enough and are too expensive. We hear from companies all the time that they are looking to extract more value from their data but struggle to capture, store, and analyze all the data generated by today’s modern and digital businesses. Fortunately, AWS has created a number of serverless services to handle your large volumes of data, and extract meaningful information.

In this hands-on session, we will show how easy it is to build a serverless analytics solution using AWS. We will create a logistics dashboard using Amazon Quicksight to provide augmented intelligence and situational awareness for a logistics operations team. It connects to Amazon Redshift Serverless which processes and stores both near-realtime and historical data.

Leverage AWS Modern Data Architecture for Big Data workloads, Machine Learning and Graph use-cases (Level 300)

AWS customers generate, process, and collect more data than ever to better understand their business landscape, market, and customers. And they don’t just use one type of data store for all your needs. Across our customer base, we see that many companies are taking all their data from various silos and aggregating all of that data in one location to do analytics and ML directly on top of that data. AWS understands the importance of using the right tool for the right use-case, as well as, making sure that the end-user has the best services interconnections to obtain the best benefit with the least effort and operational overhead.

In this hands-on session you will leverage Amazon EMR, Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Neptune to train your ML models. You will discover how those services are related to each other and how we can make them work together.
