Introducing new services for public sector

In April 2023, Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced a new service—Amazon Bedrock—that makes it simple and practical for public sector organizations to take advantage of generative artificial intelligence (AI). Amazon Bedrock, now available in preview, helps organizations to build and scale generative AI-based applications using foundation models (FMs) via an API. FMs are fundamental to building AI experiences like ChatGPT. Amazon Bedrock makes FMs, including two Amazon-developed large language models (LLMs), accessible through an AWS managed service designed to be scalable, reliable, and secure.

In June 2023, AWS also announced Digital Evidence Archive (DEA) on AWS, a new solution to assist justice and public safety agencies with storing and managing the growing amount of digital evidence. DEA on AWS helps agencies manage their digital evidence data in one simple-to-use interface designed to support compliance with Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) requirements, auditing and accountability reports, cost control, and more.

What you'll learn:

  • How generative AI can help improve efficiency, speed up innovation, improve performance, and lower your costs
  • How to utilize generative AI services through Amazon Bedrock and Amazon CodeWhisperer, an AI coding companion to improve developer productivity
  • How agencies can store and manage their digital evidence through a simple user interface using reliable, unlimited, secure, and compliant cloud storage

Who is this for?

US or global public sector organizations, no matter where they are in their machine learning or cloud journey.
