Insurers traditionally rely on static rating factors, taking broadly grouped factors such as age or postcode as a proxy for the true risk. At Zego, we dig deeper to understand the true risk of individuals and vehicles in mobility. A key part of our strategy is to put large and novel data sets in the hands of our data scientists with powerful processing capabilities, and we've recently deployed machine learning infrastructure to power next generation pricing models. TransferGo: How TransferGo is staying compliant with Amazon Rekognition
Financial Compliance and Regulation runs at the core of all fintechs and for TransferGo this is no exception. Offering a global money transfer service with over 100m transactions from 2.5m users there is no room to mislay customer information. As a scaling business TransferGo have looked to machine learning to streamline their GDPR compliance operations. Floryn: Road to PSD2 licence compliance
Floryn is an online platform delivering loans from $10K up to $2M to SMBs in the Benelux. In 2020, Floryn received a PSD2 certification to get faster access to banking data for their risk assessment. Floryn undertook a large infrastructure project to comply with PSD2 requirements : multi-account structure, isolation of payment data and stronger access control to their AWS environments.

How would a bank look like if it were set up from scratch? Starting a bank from scratch raises a multitude of questions including the selection of a Core-Banking system. A provider-sourced core banking system limited Solarisbank ability to serve increasing market demand, react to functional changes and scale our business internationally.
