Data is a precious asset for any industry, and because of that, it has become a primary target for sophisticated and complex cyberattacks. The pace with which we are seeing these threats is advancing, and according to the most recent World Economic Forum Global Risks Report, “widespread cyber crime and cyber insecurity is a new entrant into the top 10 most severe risks over the next decade”.  Furthermore, when considered from a business point of view, it jumps to a top 5 severe risk over the next two years.
