For government, education, nonprofit, and healthcare organizations, migrating workloads to the cloud is seldom a simple lift-and-shift and can often result in avoidable labor and cost. To take full advantage of cloud solutions, many legacy workloads require refactoring and agencies must rethink how data is stored, managed, and accessed in the cloud once migrated. What if you could lift-and-shift any workload, then leverage a rich and robust set of cloud-native storage solutions to enhance your cloud environment?

Join this webinar to learn how to protect, optimize, and scale cloud data on AWS with backup and storage solutions. In this session, NetApp and Amazon Web Services will share trends and success stories in the public sector and introduce solutions to help modernize your cloud storage and backup.

You will learn:

  • Backup and recovery use cases and challenges common to public sector migrations from on-premises to the cloud
  • Cybersecurity policies to protect your company’s data, maintain compliance, prevent ransomware and other attacks, and recover quickly from an attack
  • Dynamic data retention strategies such as automatic tiering that moves cold data to lower-cost Amazon S3 storage, saving up to 60 percent in costs
  • Deployment best practices for cloud databases and virtual desktops
  • Configurations to support mission-critical requirements such as continuity of operations (COOP) during unplanned events
  • Benefits of the latest purpose-built backup and storage solutions in AWS Marketplace

Who Should Attend?

Professionals in IT Operations and Data Storage roles, such as architects, site reliability engineers (SREs), DevOps, data protection, cloud architects and engineers, and data recovery team members.
