Annie Chechitelli, Head of Higher Education Strategy at AWS

Annie Chechitelli has spent the past two decades building and launching education technology solutions at Wimba, Blackboard, Amazon Kindle, and AWS. To foster rapid development and interoperability of applications across education, Annie evangelized the original charter for IMS’s Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) in 2007 that is now widely adopted by vendors and institutions. In her current role, Annie helps higher education institutions utilize AWS to innovate and meet the changing needs of students.




Yuriko Horvath, Solutions Architect Manager at AWS

Yuriko Horvath leads a team of Amazon Web Services Solutions Architects focused on universities and research. Her team has helped large universities migrate research applications and data centers to the cloud. Yuriko has worked as a web application developer for over 20 years and started her cloud journey back in 2009 helping innovate and modernize the news industry through AWS adoption.
