Health Measures*

Overview of health measures

The health and safety of our customers, partners, and employees remains our top priority. At the AWS Summit Studio Events, the following health measures will be in place. All attendees are required to comply with the health measures. Signage and additional staffing will be in place to support health measures. Revisions will be made in accordance with guidance from the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), and Federal, State, and local requirements.

Vaccination

All badge holders at the AWS Summit Studio Events must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to checking in at the event. Fully vaccinated is defined by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) as 7 days after receiving a second dose in a 2-dose series approved, or TGA recognised COVID-19 vaccine, such as the Pfizer, Moderna or AstraZeneca vaccines, or 7 days after a single-dose of Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen COVID-19 vaccine.

Record of COVID-19 vaccination must be provided at onsite check-in to receive your AWS Summit Studio Events badge. Acceptable records include your government-issued COVID-19 digital certificate, your immunisation history statement, or the defined medical exemption documentation required in each State. Information on how to obtain your proof of vaccination can be found here. The name on your vaccination record or valid medical exemption must match your name provided at registration and your government issued ID.

Masks

In accordance with current NSW law and the State’s most recent health orders, you will not be required to wear a mask when attending the AWS Summit Studio Events. However, we encourage attendees to wear masks during the AWS Summit Studio Events when they are unable to maintain a safe distance from other attendees or staff.

Personal protective equipment

AWS will make masks available for AWS Summit Studio Events attendees who choose to wear them. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the event space.

Yes. All badge holders at the AWS Summit Studio Events will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend the AWS Summit Studio Events in-person this year.

If you plan to attend the AWS Summit Studio Event, you need to receive your second dose in a 2-dose series, or Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen single-dose vaccine no later than 21 March 2022.

Yes. We will accept record of COVID-19 vaccinations authorised or approved by the national health authority of the country where it was administered if (a) you meet the definition of “fully vaccinated” as defined by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation here, and (b) are able to produce the valid proof of vaccination required by the Australian Government Department of Health as defined here. The name on your COVID-19 vaccination record must match your government issued ID.

Yes. If receiving two doses of different COVID-19 vaccine products is authorised or approved by the national health authority of the country where they are administered, we will still consider you fully vaccinated against COVID-19 7 days after your second dose in the 2-dose series.

No. A negative COVID-19 test will not be accepted as a substitution for being fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Those who cannot comply with the vaccine requirement can join AWS Summit Online ANZ event. Register for free.

Only individuals who have a valid medical exemption as defined by applicable Federal or State laws or NSW health orders can attend AWS Summit Studio Event. For more information on valid medical exemptions, visit the NSW Government website. Those who cannot comply with the vaccine requirement can join an AWS Summit Online ANZ event by registering for free here.

Yes. We will follow all local and venue guidelines for service.

If required by NSW law, you will be required to maintain social distancing during the event.

If you test positive for COVID-19, please follow the guidance provided by NSW Health for testing, isolation, masking, distancing, and seeking medical guidance. Please also report your diagnosis to the NSW Health. If a positive COVID-19 diagnosis is disclosed to AWS during the AWS Summit Studio Event, we will suspend your in-person participation in the event and ask attendees to leave the event.
