AWS Summit ASEAN | ExecLeaders – Health Measures

Overview of health measures

The health and safety of our customers, partners, and employees remains our top priority. At the AWS Summit ASEAN | ExecLeaders, the health measures outlined on this website will be in place (“Health Measures”). All attendees are required to comply with the Health Measures. Signage and additional staffing will be in place to support the Health Measures. AWS can make revisions to the Health Measures and this website at any time, including to comply with guidance from the Singapore Ministry of Health (“MOH”), and other laws, regulations or local requirements.

Vaccination

All badge holders attending the AWS Summit ASEAN | ExecLeaders must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (unless they have a valid medical exemption or another government recognized exemption applies) prior to checking in at the event in-person. If you are not fully vaccinated, do not have a valid medical exemption or other form of exemption recognized by the MOH (such as being eligible for vaccination-differentiated safe management measure), you will not be permitted to attend the AWS Summit ASEAN | ExecLeaders in-person, however you can attend an AWS Summit Online ASEAN on 18 May 2022 by registering here for free.

A person will be considered fully vaccinated if they have received the appropriate regimen of World Health Organisation Emergency Use Listing (“WHO EUL”) vaccines including their respective duration post-vaccination for the vaccine to be fully effective and had their vaccination records ingested in MOH’s national IT systems. A person may be required to have obtained a booster shot in order to be considered fully vaccinated if they obtained their last shot in the primary COVID-19 vaccination series more than 270 days ago. A person may be exempt from having to be fully vaccinated in certain circumstances, such as when they have recovered from COVID-19 within the last 180 days and have the appropriate documentation to show they are exempt. More information about the WHO EUL vaccines can be found on the MOH website and in the Infectious Diseases (COVID-19 Access Restrictions and Clearance) Regulations 2021. More information about the requirement to obtain a booster shot in order to maintain the status of fully vaccinated is available here. Information about an exemption following recent recovery from COVID-19 can be found here.

If you are not fully vaccinated, you will only be permitted to attend the AWS Summit ASEAN | ExecLeaders if you are medically ineligible for the vaccine as defined by the MOH here or another exemption recognized by the MOH or other relevant authority applies, such as recent recovery from COVID-19.

Proof that you are fully vaccinated or are exempt must be provided at onsite check-in to receive your AWS Summit ASEAN | ExecLeaders badge. Acceptable records include your government-issued digital vaccination certificate, a copy of your Confirmed COVID-19 Infection Recovery or other defined medical exemption documentation required in Singapore. Information on how to obtain your proof of vaccination can be found here. Information about exemptions from being fully vaccinated due to recent infection can be found here.

The name on your COVID-19 digital vaccination record or the defined medical exemption documentation required in Singapore must match your name provided at registration and your government issued ID. A government issued ID will include a Singapore drivers’ license, passport, or other form of approved ID. An international drivers’ license or passport will also be accepted.
