As organisations grow, security would not scale unless it becomes everyone's job. Organisations can optimise their security capabilities by allowing product teams to manage their own security, and evolving the central security team’s role to enable product teams to deliver securely. Join this session to learn key optimisations techniques to scale your organisations security, and deliver your workloads faster.

Join us to learn how AWS helps customers build digital twins and spatial simulations of real-world systems to improve safety, social inclusiveness, and develop sustainable solutions for a better tomorrow. Public sector organisations can benefit from using digital twins to optimise operational performance and accelerate time-to-value and time-to-scale for their citizens. Large scale spatial simulation technologies allow simulation workloads to seamlessly scale across multiple instances without worrying about infrastructure, networking, or data management. Developers can now simulate dynamic 2D and 3D environments with millions of dynamic entities for use cases such as crowd simulations, emergency response, city-sized digital twins, and public safety.

This training is intended to provide people with the foundational knowledge required to successfully plan and perform lift and shift migrations to the AWS Cloud. In this training, you will learn about methodologies for discovering, planning, performing, and tracking migrations by using various AWS tools and services.

Digital sovereignty is a hot topic right now, with verifiable control over data being a key concern. At AWS, we recognise that protecting customer data and earning trust are key priorities. Join this session to learn about digital sovereignty controls and features, which allow organisations to meet evolving regulatory requirements anywhere they operate, without compromising on the capabilities, performance, innovation, and scale of the AWS Cloud. Discover how AWS is sovereign by design in key areas of data location controls, resilience, verifiable control over data access, encryption, and transparency and assurance auditing.

This session will delve into the realm of International Data Spaces (IDS) and the pivotal role they play in facilitating secure and collaborative data exchange. The session will explore the concepts, technologies, and frameworks that underpin IDS, highlighting their potential for promoting data sovereignty, privacy, and trust. Through real-world use cases and technical deep-dives, attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of how IDS can be built on Amazon Web Services to foster seamless data sharing and interoperability between organisations, while safeguarding data ownership and compliance

We find ourselves in a society where the line between what is created by humans, and what is created by machines, is increasingly blurred. Generative AI has been a turning point in how we create, design, and interact with technology. But how does it work, what are the benefits beyond novelty, and what are the risks? Join us for an understandable and approachable deep dive into how generative AI works and how we can use this technology not just as a standalone tool, but in collaborative partnership to responsibly drive innovation and transformation.

Most citizen-centric databases store natural language annotations and documents in addition to relational data. This text can often provide deep insights into the operation of the agency. However, simple text search methods can only provide superficial access to this potent resource. Join this session to participate in live demonstrations on how Amazon Comprehend, a natural language processing artificial intelligence service, can unlock this resource at scale. And, see how it’s being used in practice by agencies to amplify the value of analytics pipelines—ultimately improving citizen outcomes.

Now more than ever, it’s crucial for technology manufacturers and government customers to make Secure by Design a focal point of product design, development processes, purchasing, and integration activities. To accomplish Secure by Design, manufacturers need to prioritise the integration of security principles as a critical prerequisite to consider, alongside features and speed to market. Equally, government customers should be aware of what to look for in products to ensure they are built using Secure by Design principles. Join us in this session for guidance on how Secure by Design can be implemented in products and development lifecycles, particularly using AWS products.
