Self-Paced Guide: Building a Q&A Chatbot for Education

Alexa Hackathon Guide

What's inside

Q&A chatbots allow universities to quickly and easily provide answers to students' most pressing questions. These bots use life-like conversational interactions through voice and text to deliver information.

Chatbots can be customized to work on a variety of platforms. You can add chatbots to your website with a web user interface (UI) that allows students to type or speak their questions on their laptops or mobile phones. Or, you can build an Amazon Alexa skill so that students can ask Alexa for answers on any Alexa-enabled device. You can also create an SMS bot so students can text questions and instantly get answers by reply text when they’re on the go.
