AWS DeepRacer League is the world’s first global autonomous racing league, driven by reinforcement learning. During AWS Summit Sydney, you will get the opportunity to get hands-on with a fully autonomous 1/18th scale race car, get started with building models from scratch, participate for prizes, and a chance to nab a spot at the finals during AWS re:Invent 2019 in Las Vegas.

Participation in the AWS DeepRacer League is a great way for developers and AI enthusiasts to embark on the basics of reinforcement learning (RL), which takes a very different approach to training models than other Machine Learning methods.

It is a chance for you as an individual, or as a team, to develop your RL skills and disrupt the status quo in your organisation, with an easy way of starting your experimentation with data science using Amazon SageMaker.

Your attendance to AWS Summit will provide you with the opportunity to participate in the first-ever global autonomous league, develop your RL skills, fortify your trained models from home, and increase your chances for prizes, fame, and glory!

How you can participate

1. Select one of the pre-trained models at the AWS DeepRacer League at AWS Summit.
2. Train your own model using Amazon SageMaker RL notebook or the virtual simulator available on the AWS DeepRacer online console (www.deepracerleague.com).
3. Register for a seat AWS DeepRacer Workshop for an “under the hood” immersive session on how the cars work, how to build and train your own model, as well as tips and tricks on how to race competitively.
