Jeff Barr, Chief Evangelist, Amazon Web Services

As Chief Evangelist for AWS, Jeff gets to tell the AWS story to audiences all over the world. Jeff talks, blogs, record videos, and spreads the word via social media. His main work product is the AWS Blog which he has been writing since the fall of 2004. In this role, Jeff works with the product teams to create interesting, informative, and technically accurate blog posts to highlight the latest and greatest AWS offerings. Jeff has written over 2,500 posts (well over a million words) and currently averages one finished post per calendar day. Jeff is also the host of The AWS Report, a video show that gives him the opportunity to interview AWS customers, along with business and technical leaders from within the company.

Passionate in technology innovation to make people’s life easier and with over 25 years of experience in software development, Gus has been working in various industries from 3D/Animation, Games Development, Computer Vision, AI/ML and much more. Gus currently works at Carsales as the Head of AI, inventing and building many cool AI projects such as Cyclops Image Recognition and providing technical direction to various teams across Carsales on AI. Gus has an extensive experience in Deep Learning and also loves speaking on AI and future tech related topics at various AI conferences to spread his experience and to get more people to join AI industry. Gus is a big advocate of Amazon SageMaker.

Nathan Glover, AWS IoT Hero

Nathan is a DevOps Consultant at Mechanical Rock in Perth, Western Australia. Prior to that he worked as a Hardware Systems Designer and Embedded Developer in the IoT space. In his role he enabled developers to iterate on ideas faster by building out repeatable patterns for testing & deploying to the edge.

He is passionate about Cloud Native architecture and loves sharing his successes and failures on his blog. A key focus for him is breaking down the learning barrier by building practical examples using Cloud services. On top of these he has a number of online courses teaching people how to get started building with Amazon Alexa Skills and AWS IoT.

Peter Sbarski, AWS Serverless Hero

Peter Sbarski (@sbarski) is VP of Education & Research at A Cloud Guru and an AWS Serverless Hero. Peter's role at A Cloud Guru enables him to talk and write about serverless architectures, cloud computing, and AWS. He has written a book called Serverless Architectures on AWS and is currently collaborating on a second edition with Yan Cui and Ajay Nair. He is also working on another book called Serverless Design Patterns with Dr. Tim Wagner.

Peter is enjoys to talk about cloud computing and AWS, and can be found at conferences and meetups throughout the year. He helps to organise the Serverless Meetup in Melbourne in Australia, and is always keen to share his experience and things he's learned.
