A: Any person that registers for the AWS Certification Challenge and achieves an AWS Certification between September 1 - December 31, 2020 will be eligible to participate in the Certification Challenge initiative.
A: You will need to get certified between the dates of September 1 - December 31, 2020 in order to receive your free t-shirt and successfully complete this Challenge.
A: No, but you will need to live in the United States in order to participate. The overall goal is to encourage people to advance their skills with AWS. Regardless of where you live, if you achieve an AWS Certification during the AWS Certification Minnesota Challenge and have registered on the AWS Certification Challenge page, you will receive an AWS Certification Minnesota Challenge t-shirt. However, please note that the t-shirt design will say “Minnesota” on it.
A: No! The training curriculum provided is a recommended path of courses you can take - if you feel ready to take the certification exam, you can go ahead and schedule your exam at aws.training as soon as you feel prepared.
A: As long as you achieve any of the available AWS Certifications between the dates of September 1 - December 31, 2020, you can complete the challenge and be eligible for a t-shirt.
A: AWS Certifications build credibility and confidence by validating your cloud skills with an industry-recognized credential. Getting AWS Certified can help you propel your career, whether looking to find a new role, showcase your skills to take on a new project, or become your team’s go-to expert.
A: Please submit this form with your unique digital badge link. Once you submit this, your certification will be verified and you will be sent instructions on how to claim your t-shirt.
A: Yes, if you prefer not to share your Acclaim account to get the Challenge t-shirt, you can email your certification details to our team to claim your shirt. However, please note that it could take up to three weeks to verify your certification and get your t-shirt. If you still choose to go this route, please email [email protected] with the following information: first and last name, date of certification exam, certification validation number, and certification issue date.
A: Unfortunately, no. This Certification Challenge starts on September 1, 2020 and ends on December 31, 2020. Only those who opt in to the Challenge starting on September 1st, 2020 through December 31st, 2020 will qualify for the t-shirt.
