Kubernetes offers a powerful abstraction layer for managing containerized applications. With Amazon Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes (EKS), developers can run Kubernetes on AWS, without having to manage the control plane nodes or etcd persistence layer. In this tech talk, we'll demo provisioning an Amazon EKS cluster using open source tools, show you how it makes deploying containers on AWS simple and how we are using and contributing to open source around Kubernetes.

Learning Objectives
