Assistant Commissioner for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) and Director of the MDPH Bureau of Infectious Disease and Laboratory Sciences

Kevin is past Chair of the National Alliance of State and Territorial AIDS Directors (NASTAD) and served as a technical advisor to national, state, and provincial AIDS control programs in Nigeria, Brazil, and South Africa. Kevin serves on the Massachusetts Special Legislative Commission on LGBT Aging, the Harvard Center for AIDS Research (CFAR) Executive Committee, and is a formerly on the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS (PACHA).

Immunization System Manager, Minnesota Immunization Information Connection (MIIC), Minnesota Department of Health

Miriam Muscoplat is the manager of MIIC, Minnesota’s Immunization Information System (IIS), and is the policy lead and data steward. During the COVID-19 response, she was the vaccine data management lead, working with a variety of stakeholders to ensure data quality and timeliness. Miriam has been with the Minnesota Department of Health since 2008, and the MIIC Manager since 2016.

Quan has been a Louisiana resident since 1978. With over 30 years of public health experience, Quan has supported the state’s immunization program in a variety of ways, including working in the perinatal hepatitis B department and as a nurse epidemiologist.

Claire has served in her position since 2004 and has 18 years of experience in children’s health and immunization. After working on Capitol Hill for five years, Claire spent three years lobbying for children’s health issues. In 1997, she became the Director of Immunization Policy for the Association of State & Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO), where she worked with state health officials, the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), and other partners to improve and enhance immunization policies and practices.
