How a multilocation community college in California rapidly recovered from a devastating cyberattack
Hartnell College case study

About the case study
Hartnell College had a traditional on-premises setup with every application locally hosted on servers and the only cloud-based component was the website. It was not only costly to maintain but vulnerable. Moving to a modern, cloud-based infrastructure was a top priority to provide flexibility, efficiency, security, and be cost-effective.
While a strategy was in process, the college became the victim of a sophisticated ransomware attack, requiring a quick and smooth transition to the cloud. Now, the college is designing a solid infrastructure for the long-term.
