    Sandy Carter joined AWS as Vice President of Enterprise Workloads in April 2017. Prior to joining AWS, Sandy was a driving force of Innovation at IBM for the last decade. Most recently serving as IBM’s worldwide General Manager of Ecosystem Development, Sandy was the global evangelist responsible for connecting emerging technology companies and accelerators with enterprises to increase productivity and creativity while fostering a community of innovation.

  • Thomas Blood Enterprise Strategist, Amazon Web Services

    As an AWS Enterprise Strategist for EMEA, Thomas works with enterprise executives to share experiences and strategies for how the cloud can help them increase speed and agility while devoting more of their resources to their customers. Prior to joining AWS in October of 2016, Thomas was VP of Emerging Technologies at Experian Consumer Services, where he led an effort to re-architect the technology platform using a cloud-native approach in AWS. This transformation changed how the business develops software, systems, and business solutions and has caused a ripple effect throughout the enterprise with multiple business units pursuing their own journey to the cloud.

  • Wesley WilkSolutions Architect, Amazon Web Services

    Wesley is an AWS Solutions Architect, where he works with enterprises in their migrations to the AWS cloud. He has worked with enterprises in all stages in their journey, from initial workloads to mass migrations. He has helped establish cloud center of excellence (COE) teams, as well as define the various best practices and architectural patterns to ensure the successful deployment of the cloud solutions.

  • Michael ChuBusiness Development Manager, Cloud Economics, Amazon Web Services

    Michael works for AWS Cloud Economics where he works to help customers understand and quantify the comprehensive business value of AWS. He’s considered a thought leader on valuing benefits and has been instrumental in establishing the Cloud Value Framework. Prior to Amazon, Michael held leadership roles at in Business Strategy at Coupa Software, Customer Strategy at SAP, and Product Management at Symantec. He also has computer science degrees from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

    Curran O’Brien is a Senior Product Marketing Manager for artificial intelligence solutions at AWS.     Niraj is a Business Development manager with AWS, responsible for helping customers build the business case for innovation through the Cloud.     Prior to joining AWS, he held leadership positions in Customer Strategy at SAP, Product Marketing at Symantec. Niraj holds a Bachelors of Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Masters in Engineering Management from the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.

    Jake joined AWS as Enterprise Strategist in October 2018. In this role, Jake works with enterprise technology executives to share experiences and strategies for how the cloud can help them increase speed and agility while devoting more of their resources to their customers. Prior to joining AWS, Jake was Vice President of Cloud Services at Live Nation Entertainment where he was responsible for leading the company’s cloud transformation including an accelerated all-in migration to AWS, achieving an immediate 18% savings in infrastructure TCO with an additional 30% savings the following year, as well as significant measured increases in agility, security, and reliability. In his previous role as Vice President of IT Operations, Jake was responsible for enterprise-wide IT strategy and oversight of the infrastructure and support teams in North America, and focused on cloud-based IT modernization and overall operational efficiency.

  • Dan Gallivan Sr. Director, VMware

    Dan is Sr. Director, WW Cloud Partner Strategy & Architecture at VMware, a global leader in cloud infrastructure and business mobility. VMware focuses on accelerating our customers’ digital transformation journey by enabling enterprises to master a software-defined, multi-cloud approach to business and IT. Prior to VMware, Dan has held CTO and senior technology roles at some of the largest and most innovative companies in the world including IBM, CSC, Charles Schwab and Motorola.
