AWS Serverless Application Model (SAM) helps simplify building, testing, deploying, and managing serverless applications and can be one of the most powerful tools in your developer toolbox. In this tech talk, we'll go over managing serverless applications with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in the form of dynamic, reusable SAM templates. We will demonstrate best practices for declaring resources, granular security, and shared code. At the end of the tech talk, you will understand how concepts like policy templates, global attributes, and centralized parameter management can help take your SAM template skills to the next level. We will also cover local development and debugging of serverless applications using the AWS SAM CLI which allows you to go from zero to deployed with a serverless application.

Learning Objectives
- Learn how to increase flexibility while reducing latency in deployments with reusable templates
- Learn to reduce code and increase efficiency with SAM template best practices
- Learn to iterate and debug code locally before ever deploying with SAM CLI

Who Should Attend?
