As principal solutions architect for academic medical centers at AWS, Paul accelerates healthcare advancement and innovation by working with clinicians, biomedical researchers, and IT staff at academic medical centers to adopt and leverage cloud technologies in a secure and compliant (HIPAA, GDPR) manner. He provides high-level guidance at the C-suite and director level, as well as deep, technical guidance to biomedical research teams, around interoperability and federated research, artificial intelligence, and machine learning techniques for medical inferencing and high-performance computing, and data storage and processing (data lakes) for precision medicine.
