Start Using Local Zones with $500 in AWS Credits
Amazon Web Services Local Zones are a type of AWS infrastructure deployment that place compute, storage, database, and other select services closer to large population, industry, and IT centers. This enables you to deliver applications that require single-digit millisecond latency to end-users. Local Zones are also a way to comply with local data residency requirements in sectors such as healthcare, financial services, and government.
The AWS Proof Concept (POC) Program gives you credits to help you get started building and testing on AWS Local Zones. To get started, fill out the form to the right and an AWS Local Zones representative will contact you. If you require additional credit, please specify in the project description.
To qualify, you must have:
- A valid AWS account, with up-to-date billing information (reseller accounts do not qualify)
- A sufficient business case and proof of concept to test using the credits
