How a Global Neuroscience Research Institute Protects 80 TB of Critical Data on the Cloud
Webinar Presented by AWS and APN Storage Partner Druva
The Queensland Brain Institute (QBI) is a global neuroscience research institute based in Australia with the mission to develop new therapeutic approaches for brain diseases. Over the years, the QBI's collaborations with clinicians and commercial partners have generated terabytes (TB) of critical data in the form of images and video files, supporting research papers, and grant funding.
Researchers were responsible for protecting the data on their local devices, backing them up to one of two on-premises data centers using hierarchical storage—causing data availability and backup reliability issues for IT in addition to restores from the on-premises data centers that took hours of valuable time away from the team.
As a result, the QBI could never be certain that all of its critical research data, including genomic and microscopy data, was truly protected. Join our webinar to hear how the QBI was able to improve both data availability and endpoint backup reliability through solutions from Druva and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Watch to learn how to:
Manage critical tasks using a cloud-based data protection solution
Enable 24/7, year-round data availability for collaboration and visibility
Deliver a comprehensive data protection solution across endpoints, data centers, and cloud workloads without managing additional hardware
Automate backups, helping gain both peace of mind and time back for your IT practitioners
