Autonomous Driving Development in the Cloud

AWS Webinar | On-demand

In this on-demand webinar, you will learn about the Autonomous Vehicle Development workloads on AWS as well as AWS' scale and pay-as-you-go pricing. Attendees will learn how Autonomous Driving Development workloads can be run successfully and at lower cost in the cloud.

Length: 45 minutes

Who Should Attend
IT Professionals, technical and business managers engaged in or interested in autonomous vehicle development

About this webinar

Autonomous vehicle development requires extensive computing resources to accelerate the advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) Level 2/3 and automated driving systems (ADS) Level 4/5 development process. A typical ADAS/ADS development effort generates 10s-100s of TBs of new vehicle data daily that is ingested, processed and used for training machine learning models, and used in open and closed loop software/hardware simulations to validate various algorithms and hardware systems. ADAS/ADS development needs hundreds-of-thousands of CPU cores, and 1000s of GPUs, for training machine-learning models and running software simulations, and the CPU/GPU compute demand fluctuates dramatically from day to day.

The need for elastic scale and dispersed software development makes ADAS/ADS ideally suited for development in the AWS cloud. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that many of the major ADAS/ADS customers make extensive use of the AWS cloud.

Watch this 45 minute on-demand webinar to learn how to build a compelling business case for AV development in the cloud based on different Amazon S3 storage classes and Amazon EC2 compute instances.

Speaker: John Barrus, Principal AV Compute Specialist, Amazon Web Services
