Secrets in Kubernetes enable you to manage sensitive information, such as passwords and API keys, in a Kubernetes-native way. In this tech talk, we show you how to protect these secrets in Amazon EKS through integration with AWS Key Management Service and AWS CloudHSM. You will understand how AWS encryption provider integration secures Amazon EKS secret objects using AWS KMS or CloudHSM Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) in order to help meet your organizational security and compliance requirements. We also explain the benefits this integration provides in securely storing key material.
