11:15 - 12:00 GMT+1 | Building and maintaining your startup's culture

About the session

Culture is a vital part of the startup experience. While perks such as ping pong tables and beer o’clock Fridays may seem like the foundation, a well-designed startup culture is also inclusivity, the environment, and the vibe. Beyond the perks, a fantastic workplace culture drives loyalty, creates an atmosphere people want to be part of, and ultimately influences your bottom line. So, how do you get your startup culture right and maintain it as you scale? In this panel, startup founders and tenured Amazonians will discuss why culture is vital to any startup that wants to survive past its early days. They’ll outline how, if crafted correctly, culture can act as a powerful recruiting, retention, and fundraising tool. They’ll share how culture can set your startup apart, define its purpose, project its values, and help founders prove to investors that the company is more than just an idea.
