Amazon DocumentDB is a highly scalable and fully managed document database service. Amazon DocumentDB now offers Global Clusters to provide disaster recovery from region-wide outages and enable low-latency global reads. Global Clusters replicates your data to clusters in up to 5 AWS regions with little to no impact on performance, with a typical lag less than one second.
