Today, many organizations build system-of-record applications with ledger-like functionality because they want to maintain an accurate history of their application data. However, ledger applications are usually implemented using relational databases. The challenge with this approach is that building audit functionality with relational databases is time-consuming, prone to human error, and needs custom development as relational databases are not inherently immutable. This led us to building the world's first fully-managed ledger database, Amazon QLDB. Amazon QLDB is a new class of database that provides a transparent, immutable, and cryptographically verifiable transaction log. Join us in this tech talk to learn about the features and functionality of QLDB and see a live demo.
