Level 200 | Service How To
Building a modern production-ready web application entails many basic yet sophisticated requirements including but not limited to authentication, analytics, an API layer, storage, caching, & offline functionality. In this talk, we’ll look at how to use AWS to quickly scaffold new cloud services like user-signin, a GraphQL API, Lambda functions, analytics, & even a chatbot directly from their command line. We'll then introduce AWS Amplify, an SDK that allows developers to easily connect to cloud enabled services to their web or mobile application & begin using these services from within their client application.
Learning Objectives:
• Learn how to create new cloud services from the command line
• Understand the AWS Amplify SDK, how it is configured, & the available APIs
• Be able to take this knowledge and begin building cloud-enabled applications on your own
Suited For: Front end developers looking to extend their skillset using their existing knowledge
Speaker(s): Nader Dabit, Developer Advocate, AWS Mobile Applications; Michael Labieniec, Software Development Manager, AWS Mobile Applications
