In 2022, AWS Marketplace commissioned Forrester Consulting to evaluate the state of customer experience and advertising and marketing technologies. To explore this topic, Forrester conducted an online survey with 636 respondents with responsibility for advertising and marketing technology strategy and procurement at their organizations. We found that firms plan to prioritize better data and customer experience on their way to unearthing greater customer insights and trust.

Software procurement processes have shifted in turn, all while B2B buyers are demanding and expecting more B2C-like experiences.

To keep pace, firms are prioritizing more efficient channels to meet their digital transformation goals and better collect and use customer data.
