James has been practicing DevOps long before the term became popularized. He holds a doctorate in computer science with a focus on leveraging machine learning algorithms for scaling systems. At AWS, James works with partners who are building solutions to help customers achieve their DevOps objectives.

Aditya Muppavarapu is a Global Segment Leader for DevOps at Amazon Web Services. In his role he works with our top technology and Consulting partners in the DevOps space, to help solve complex customer problems around DevOps and Modern application development & delivery. He is a DevOps enthusiast and a longtime practitioner. In his role, he helps customers accelerate their digital transformation and speaks at meetups and executive briefings. He spent the past 15 years guiding several organizations deliver value faster to their customers via process, culture and tooling transformation. In his spare time, he enjoys running, biking, hiking, gardening and wood working.
