Description
Data mesh, one of the most widely discussed concepts in data today, is founded on the idea that organizations would greatly benefit from a decentralized data stack, one where the data resides within the domains which own that data and understand it best.
This more modern approach can truly help democratize data, not through a centralized stack, but with each domain being able to produce data as a product. In theory it makes perfect sense, who best to understand the data than the users and producers of that data!
In this session, AWS and the DevOps Institute will be diving deep into this concept, the four key pillars attributed to data mesh, and considerations for a logical data mesh architecture, one which ensures your domains maintain data products which are FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable).
