There are numerous benefits to storing data in the cloud, including the economic upside of pay-as-you-go pricing and ease of use through self-service administration. In this session, learn how the cloud reduces risk through durability and security, while increasing benefits of speed, ability, and scale.

Lunch (provided)

11:50 AM – 12:40 PM

Maximizing Constituent Engagement

12:45 PM – 1:30 PM

Your customers expect intuitive, effortless, and personalized service. The power of the cloud, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) unlocks the ability to modernize your customer engagement and empower your workforce. In this breakout session, learn how organizations leverage an omnichannel solution, along with self-service capabilities, to reimagine the customer experience. In this session we’ll explain how the power of AWS improves the constituent experience and reduces costs.

Gaining Insights With a Modern Data Strategy

1:45 PM – 2:30 PM

Data is growing exponentially and coming in more diverse formats than ever before. This makes it challenging to extract value. A modern data strategy can help you manage, act on, and react to your data so you can make better decisions, respond faster, and uncover new opportunities. In this session you will learn about the AWS Modern Data Strategy. How to modernize your data infrastructure, how to unify data by breaking down silos, and how to leverage machine learning (ML) to reduce the burden of manual processing and analytics.

Remote Learning/Work

2:45 PM - 3:30 PM

State and local government agencies needed to support their employees remotely, in a secure and scalable way, in 2020. They put work from home policies in place and enabled a strategy to support their employees in working from anywhere. Join this session to learn how AWS helped governments with remote work. Hear how Los Angeles county used AppStream 2.0 to simplify their deployment of virtual desktop infrastructure for 30,000+ employees. Look at AppStream 2.0 and Amazon WorkSpaces use cases to overcome capital expenditure, secure connectivity, application management, work from anywhere, and right-sized scale challenges.

Accelerating Application Modernization

12:00 - 12:45 PM

Modern applications are built with a modular architecture, serverless operational models, and automated software delivery processes, and they allow organizations to innovate faster while reducing risk, time to market, and total cost of ownership. Organizations are increasingly interested in modernizing applications because they need to become agile and innovate to respond to change faster. Requirements has also changed because applications now need to scale quickly to potentially millions of users, have global availability, manage petabytes if not exabytes of data, and respond in milliseconds. This requires a different kind of application than before.
